Training the cat on the leash
Training a cat on a leash is very simple but it requires much time and patience. Masters want their cats to walk with them and hence training it to walk with the leash is the only solution for it.
Training older cats are very difficult. Hence training should be started when it is young. Kittens are easier to train for proper actions just like children. Kittens obey to proper food and they do not think whether it is correct or incorrect.
The things required to train the cat to walk with, are collar or harness and a leash. The above things should be purchased with care because the kitten should accept and it should be easy for it to walk with. There are many leashes available depending upon the lengths. Some leashes are adjustable in length so that the master can take control over the cat when it walks to longer distances. With the help of it, the masters can allow their cat to play or walk within a definite distance without any commotion. There are leashes with standard lengths also. The important thing to be noted while buying a leash is its weight. It should not be too heavy so that the cat feels comfortable with it.
The collar should be shorter in width and less weighted. It should be tied loose to the cat’s neck but not so loose that the cat removes it by itself. After buying all the three, the things should be placed before the cat and allow it to smell so that it get used to it and does not find tough while using it. The next step is tying the harness loose to the cat and check whether it likes it or not. If it does not do anything with it, then the harness should be tightened gradually. Lots of care should be taken while taking the cat out for a walk with the leash
